Located on the New Jersey waterfront in Jersey City, Liberty State Park is one of the two official departure locations for Statue City Cruises ferries to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. With convenient parking, easy highway access, and spectacular views of the New skyline, it's a popular departure point for visitors from New Jersey and beyond.

Depart to the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island


Liberty State Park is home to one of the two official Statue City Cruises departure locations.

Guests departing from New Jersey enjoy:

Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal (CRRNJ)

Before boarding your ferry, take time to explore the historic Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal (CRRNJ), one of Liberty State Park's most significant landmarks.

Opened in 1889, the terminal welcomed millions of immigrants who had just been processed at Ellis Island and were beginning the next chapter of their journey across the United States. Today, the beautifully restored building is home to the official Statue City Cruises New Jersey ticket office and serves as a reminder of New Jersey's important role in America's immigration story.

Seasonal Shuttle

On select dates, a free shuttle connects the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal with popular destinations throughout Liberty State Park. Shuttle service is offered on limited days, primarily weekends.
