Battery Park is home to more than 20 significant monuments honoring New York City and American history.

• The Sphere, relocated from the World Trade Center following the September 11 attacks as a symbol of resilience and remembrance.
• The East Coast Memorial, honoring more than 4,600 American servicemen lost in the Atlantic Ocean during World War II.
• The American Merchant Mariners' Memorial, commemorating merchant mariners who gave their lives during World War II. Depending on the tide, portions of the memorial rise above the water.

Beware of Ticket Scams

Battery Park is a busy tourist destination, and visitors may encounter individuals selling unofficial tours or claiming to sell Statue of Liberty tickets.

These individuals are not affiliated with Statue City Cruises or the National Park Service and may falsely claim that official tickets are sold out, the ticket office is closed, or that visitors need to board a bus to reach the departure location.

For the official visitor experience, purchase tickets directly through Statue City Cruises online or visit the official Statue City Cruises ticket office inside Castle Clinton National Monument.

Statue City Cruises will never direct guests to board a bus to reach the ferry.
