Note: When choosing your time, this is your entry into the Security Facility and not the Early Bird Tour start time on Ellis Island. The wait time can be several hours, particularly during peak season including summer, weekends, and holidays.

- Battery Park is the departure point from New York. The ticket office is located within the Castle Clinton National Monument in Battery Park.
- The Security Screening Facility and ferry departure are located behind Castle Clinton, on the waterfront side of Battery Park.
- Easy access via public transportation, including major subway lines and bus routes.
- We recommend that you include ample time and maintain a flexible schedule to include boarding the ferry and clearing the Screening Facility.

Note: The time printed on your ticket indicates when you should join the queue to enter the security screening facility, not a specific departure. You may only join the queue to enter the security screening facility at the time referenced on your ticket. - All participants must be 13 years of age or older. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the tour.
- All visitors boarding a Statue City Cruises departure to Liberty and/or Ellis Island must pass through airport grade security procedures in the Screening Facility.
- The Audio Tour is available in Arabic, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
- These unrestored buildings do not comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements at this time. Participants must be able to climb stairs. We regret that visitors with wheelchairs or scooters are not permitted on the tour at this time.
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toed shoes, and high heels are not permitted.
- The Early Bird Hard Hat Ticket does not allow access inside the Statue of Liberty National Monument.
- A portion of your purchase will go towards the restoration and maintenance of the historic Ellis Island Immigrant Hospital.
Refunds will be provided if cancellations of reservations are made 24 hours prior to departure for a Reserve Ticket. Refunds will also be provided if the islands are closed for security, safety or weather reasons. Unused tickets will not be refunded.
