By Subway: Local 1 (7th Avenue Line): Take it to the last stop at South Ferry. Exit the station, walk north on State Street, then take the first path on your left into the park. Follow the path to the left until you reach Castle Clinton. Express 4 or 5 (Lexington Avenue Line): Get off at Bowling Green. Walk out, turn right into Battery Park, pass the flagpole, and Castle Clinton will be ahead.
